The session will include a range of fun activities that give you an insight into what counselling is (and isn’t). You will meet like-minded people who share common interests, develop your self-awareness, and practice effective listening and responding skills.
The course can also give you a better idea of what counselling training at Devon Counselling College involves and help you choose the right entry level for you.
This taster can help you improve your communication skills and increase your confidence in listening and responding to others in personal or workplace settings.
Entry Requirements
This session is aimed at adults aged 18+. Other than that, there are no entry requirements other than an interest in your personal development, a willingness to practice communication skills in pairs exercises – and to have fun together.
